The Wildcat was an old wooden rollercoaster once found at Idora Amusement Park in Youngstown, Ohio. I rode this beast as a a child and eventually located my art studio near it. For many years I watched it decay until it was finally torn down. With an interest in Post Industrial, Urban Archeology, I spent many years researching and documenting this important part of the material culture of the Mahoning Valley. I also collected what artifacts I could from this structure and eventually incorporated some of this material in to my art work.
