TIGER MAPLE FRAMES

Here are several examples of the many frames that I created using tiger maple, a hard, shimmering wood that produces beautiful effects. After milling the raw lumber, I use my own custom made stains to color it. Then I mitre and assemble the finish moulding. Each frame is shaped and colored for specific paintings, to enhance and visually support the work. Please note that it is difficult to have both the frames and artwork appear properly together in a photo.
